I got interested in photography around 2004 when I had a chance to use and abuse a Nikon D1H for a couple of weeks...a long pause followed until I got my hands on a relatively decent point & shoot camera and then started a photoblog in January 2006, which is still available here.

Then in November 2006 I got some money together and bought my current camera and that is also the genesis of this blog here...it's purely for my own enjoyment, but if others like it then so much the better.
